5 out of 5 stars Twin girls can easily share this toy!   September 25, 2000

I am a stay home mother to twin girls, who is also homeschooling. This puzzle is great! So much so, that I am buying more products by this company (Lights, Camera, Interaction, Inc.). The pieces are easy for a toddler/preschool child to handle, and they stimulate their imagination as well. My girls are happily entertained for 30-45 minutes with these toys.

5 out of 5 stars Finally a puzzle with both upper and lower case letters!   October 4, 2001

This is a great puzzle. It has helped our 3 year old son begin learning his lower case letters. He knows the uppercase but now can see the difference on the same puzzle. He likes the puzzle so much we bought a second one for our niece.

4 out of 5 stars Just one glitch...   January 9, 2002

I bought this puzzle because I thought it would be terrific, and for the most part it is. However, there's one thing that bothers me: many of the lower case letters are too similar! The a, p, d, q are virtually interchangable...very difficult for a small child to differentiate. If you can show the little one the very subtle difference between the letters it'd be fine..but for some children this would be very frustrating and NOT fun. Just a little caution. Otherwise, the puzzle is well-made and great!

5 out of 5 stars Great puzzle   January 24, 2002

It is so wonderful to have an alphabet puzzle that pairs lower and uppercase letters. Great for kids who need a little more challenge. They learn to associate letters with "baby" ones. Wonderful! So many toys underestimate preschoolers' abilities with overly simple formats. This one is just right for young puzzle lovers.

5 out of 5 stars Great buy!   April 21, 2005

I got this back when my son was only about 9 months old to supplement my home-made flashcards & the educational videos. I didn't take out the plastic at that time since I know he'd just eat them. I just let him point out the letters besides the alpha blocks that he's also learning from. To make a long story short, my son's mastered the alphabet at 14 months old (& to think he was 5 wks preemie when he was born) both the upper and lower case letters and all the letter sounds. Now at 18 months, he's reading the words that he used to know by recognition only. He can actually read now and builds the words using the letters on this puzzle. I'd say it's worth the money!
