Lotsa fun June 24, 2008 David Golden (Galveston) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is probably my favorite Rubiks puzzle. It hasn't fallen apart on me yet, and after several weeks of wear and tear turns quite smoothly. Solving the center pieces is pretty easy, and matching the edge pieces is fun to do; never quite the same combinations. And then you get to finish by solving it like the 3x3x3.
i love this cube. October 14, 2007 duzitickle (alamo town) after id played the 4x4x4 cube for awhile, the inner pieces tended to pop out. i was afraid that this would be the case with the professor, as well.. but that hasnt happened at all. and i spin this cube at least 12 times a day. the pieces still have a firm hold and spin well. the stickers began to peel within a few days, but i am hard on stickers, so it could just be me. =P all in all.. im gonna give this cube five big stars. its one of my fav toys ive gotten from amazon. (note to amazon: get the 6x6x6) =]
Too loooong! to ship November 25, 2007 Chris Prazak (San Diego California USA) The order took a whole month just to ship and there wasnt any holidays during this time period either the item was great but the delivery speed was terrible
Amazing toy but awfull stickers December 15, 2007 Daniel Manzato (Sao Paulo, Brazil) I am a Rubik's Cube lover and bought this 5x5x5 one recently. The mechanism is very well built, but the stickers are absolutely terrible. In less than a week they start to fade and peel. I had to replace them all. So, how can a product be sold with such deficiency? I hope Rubik's start selling these cubes already with the PVC stickers they have.
My son loves this! December 30, 2007 K. Whelan (Perry Hall, MD USA) I purchased the Rubik's Professor Cube 5x5 for my 16 year old son for Christmas. He had already solved the original Rubik's cube several times and was working on the 4x4 cube. When he opened this, he was amazed at it's massive size (as compared to the 3x3 cube) and was ready for the challenge. He solved the 5x5 cube 5 days after he opened it. He loves it!
