One great toy!!! May 8, 2008 C. E. Lo (Columbus, Ohio USA) I bought this map and the world puzzle for the boys christmas this past year and he just loves it!!!! He has become a master of the states and their capitals at the age of 5! This world puzzle is a bit harder but he's begining to understand just how big our state is and how it fits into the big picture of our world. I have shown him where his Auntie lives in Australia and the country in Africa where is father's family lives. We're working on my friend in Wales now. Too bad I don't know anyone South America!! I can't say enough amazing and great things about what Doug and Melissa's toys do for my (or anyone's) child. No matter the age, buy this for your son, daughter, grandchild.....heck buy it for a friends kid!
Poorly cut pieces June 14, 2008 Maureen Plumb (Texas) This puzzle was said to be an awesome educational item, but after ordering it, I found the puzzle pieces were not cut exactly how the state was leaving some of the boarder on another piece. Then 1/2 the puzzle failed to say the name of the state and the capital. It was over priced and poorly designed.
Fun and educational June 20, 2008 D. Bloomfield (Palm City, FL) I have a 7 year old and twin 4 year olds. I bought it for the 7 year old to work on geography over the summer. All three children love puzzles and love that this puzzle talks. They all use it and it will make learning the US states and capital much easier and more fun. Be careful if you leave it in the family room without the pieces because the lights from the room and TV activate the speaker and the puzzles talks to you all evening long. Keep the puzzle pieces in the puzzle or the puzzle in the closet.
