I just bought this for my 15 month old. This is our 3rd Melissa and Doug puzzle. All are great quality. This puzzle has the same exact letter printed on the board beneath the puzzle piece, so it is good for younger children to learn where to put the pieces. The varying color combinations also make it easier for them to match the letter to the correct spot. I love this puzzle and so does my son. We have other cheaper alphabet puzzles, but this one is definitely worth the money. Highly recommended. [...]
Nice puzzle with lots of color June 8, 2007

My 2 year old son likes puzzles a lot. We think he might have vison color deficiencies and this may be too busy for him b/c he doesn't *love* it, but I think it's a really nice product. He can say his alphabet, but doesn't yet associate all the letters with what he is saying.

I love Melissa and Doug puzzles, and this one is great. My son loves to learn his letters through it, and the chunky pieces are great for his little fingers. The paint has chipped a little bit, but that's probably because they've ended up in his mouth one too many times. Great product!

Nothing negative to say about this chunky puzzle. My daughter finally showed interest in letters after playing with this. Great opportunity to work on colors, letters, phonics and vocabulary, with the little pictures behind the letters. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.
