Quite a Catch!!! June 30, 2008 Laurie Alvarez (Texas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reading the various reviews here I had no idea whether or not to proceed with the purchase of this pool for my two year old daughter. Finally I decided to take a chance and hope for the best realizing all along that, folks, inflatable pools are not meant to last more than a swimming season. That is definitely reflected in the cost of the pool. Another concern I had though was about how many children would be able to play in the pool at a given time because we were planning to use this pool at my daughter's birthday party where there would be several five year old brothers as well. Well, long story short....this pool was absolutely perfect. Both of my kiddos (ages 2 and 5) were able to play in the pool at the same time. Now granted neither have room to do laps, but their idea of fun in a pool such as this is to slide and splash and get wet. Even if the box's picture is misleading on size, don't let that seal the deal on your purchase because this really is a great little pool for the money. Keep in mind that this is not a "swimming" pool so much as it is a slide and splash pool. At one time there were four little girls from 6 months up to 4 years playing happily in this pool at our party. Occasionally a couple of five year olds would throw themselves down the slide making for splashes and screams and yet there was no fussing...just squeals and smiles. Y'all don't judge a book by its cover and miss out on some good backyard summer fun in this pool. As long as you keep your expectations realistically based, you and your kids won't be disappointed! I am definitley glad I gave it a chance!!!

Lucky for me to have a compressor to blow up this slide and pool. If I had had to manually inflate this sucker, only to have three of the six or seven individual chambers immediately deflate, I might have popped. As it is, what more should I expect from such a low-priced (cheap) item? You get what you pay for.
I have no complains September 8, 2007 Johanna Wikstrom (PA, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this pool for our two doughters at the beginning of the summer, and now in the end of the summer it i still working just fine. It is not a big pool, but it is a perfect size for my 2 year old and 5 1/2 year old. I fill it with water in the morning and then they have the same water for two days, and then we fill it up again with new water. It is perfect that it is not beeing so big, beqouse the water gets warm much faster, and it does not take so long time filling it up. it is perfect just for cooling down this warm summer day.... but just for the kids, you will bee way to big for this pool...;) There are coming water from the whale, if you connect the hoos to it, but you will bee fine not jusing this. We juse it for a while, and then turn it of. You connect the slide to the pool bye youre self, so it can not fly away on windy days, the slide even stayed on the pool in a storm... and if you want a little bit bigger pool, you can take the slide away, and get some more space in the pool (we do this when the girls have friends over, and then the slide get to bee a climbing slide on the gras instead). We have enyoyed this pool this summer, and when it is getting cooler we will take it to the basement and fill it up with balls, or stuffed animals, so they can enyoy it for the winter as well...

Phony product photo June 15, 2008 Mike Twain (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The other reviewers that have pointed out that the promotional photo is doctored are spot on. Only Hobbit children would find the pool that roomy. The manufacturer of this item should be shamed into changing their deceptive marketing practices.
