Well made comedy, has become a Cult Film. January 29, 2002 Christian Pelchat (Canada.) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
A young man(Steve Guttenburg) is attending a `low tech` Med School in Central America. While he meets Students from Med School (Julie Hagerty, Curtis Armstrong and Julie Kavner). Without the Knowledge of the Head Doctor of Med School (Alan Arkin). The Studients set up a Medical Clinc in a nearby Village, where the Care is Inacceptable.Directed by Harvey Miller (Getting Away with Murder) made a Satisfying Comedy. Good Comic Performances by the Cast. A Box Office flop in Theaters but it`s has life on Video. Forgettable to Others but those remember the film foundly has become a Cult Following. Grade:B+.
Don't watch this March 6, 2000 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
We just had a discussion: what's the lamest movie you've ever seen? Not in terms of being so bad it's actually worth watching for its sheer awfulness - just _bad_ bad. In my memory, this one is it. I hesitate writing this at it is giving it more credit than it's due. Yawn.
Cheap shots and all, I love this movie! August 1, 1999 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This movie makes me laugh. I don't know why, but it does. I have seen it many times and now I want to own my own copy because I always enjoy watching it again. It has some very funny moments.
