This is a true classic. This has been a family favorite of ours and I would like to see it re-released soon.
Great fun! December 31, 2001 Rob JR (Dallas, TX United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
A rich man pays for the boys to go to Oxford after he mistakenly thinks that they caught the man who robbed him. Upon their arrival, they become the victims of some practical jokes which find them lost in a hedge-maze, and fixing cocktails while in the Dean's bed. Later, Stanley gets hit in the head with some interesting results. "A Chump at Oxford" can't help but put a smile on your face! No matter how many times I see it, this film remains hilarious.

This Laurel And Hardy film , in my view is the best the duo have ever done. Not only does the film have great comedy but an outstanding plot. The only problem with this Laurel and Hardy movie is that it doesnt include much slapstick which is one of thair best assets.personally i thinks its not only their best film but the best film ever made.
The Chump's a Champ. March 17, 2003 jeremy rhodes (Osaka Japan) Stan and Ollie are on top form in this hilarious caper. After a brief prologue as butler and maid ( Stan in drag! ) our heroes foil a bank robbery and set off to get an education. Hollywood's Oxford offers a perfect contest for misunderstandings and slapstick. Stan's impression of a plum-in-the-mouth Brit is priceless. A breath of comic fresh air that will have the whole family laughing.
