My kids have watched this movie hundreds of times! It's about stuffed animals that come to life in the middle of the night and take Sally and her brother to a land of music and fun for Sally's birthday party. The rustic quality of the film makes the movie even more dream-like. I don't know why They stopped producing these videos. My kids have all of them and watch them all!

My mom always checked out the Wee Sing movies from the library, especially this one (until 3rd grade when they didn't have it anymore, so she got The Marvelous Musical Mansion instead). I watched them all the time! And then my sister was born, so she checked them out for her, and after not seeing them for 8 years, it was gr8 to see them again! Now I am 14 and very obsessed with Wee Sing (well, you know what I mean, eh?), especially because the songs are ones you want to hear over and over again, instead of being obnoxious. When I was looking for this one at the library, they didn't have it anymore and I wanted to see it again!! But then my mom found it at Hastings!! We are going to buy my sister all the Wee Sing movies that I watched when I was little, which includes Wee Sing Together, King Cole's Party, Sillyville (which I still can't find anywhere), and The Marvelous Musical Mansion. I think you should see all the Wee Sing movies, even if you are 14 and want to remember how insanely fun it was to be a kid! (lol!) Wee Sing movies are so good for little kids that when you get older, you still enjoy watching them instead of getting ill from seeing them over and over again!

I loved this movie as a kid! I later gave it to a younger cousin when I was"grown up". My 2 yr old loves singing and dancing and can sing almost all of the songs so she LOVES this movie."Mommy I see Together." That's what she tells me when she wants to watch it. I get excited that she likes at least one of the same things as me as a kid. It may be an older movie, but some cartoons now adays are just bad.
I love watching it with my daughter, she gets into it everytime!

You can safely ignore the editorial review, above. If you REALLY need the kids to stay in one place and be quiet for an hour, don't reach for the cough syrup, duct tape, or bungie cords - reach for this video. The effect is quite astonishing. The plot (stuffed animals whisk the children away for a magic birthday party) is just a device to hang lots (and lots ...) of well-known chirpy songs on. If you don't manage to get out of the room before the singing starts, you will not only be singing them all day against your will, but if you get any of the lines wrong, your children will quickly correct you. This is one of the few kids videos I've seen that is recorded at single-speed, so it sounds and looks better than most, and will last longer. Nothing profound goes on, here, but there's also nothing remotely harmful to children. Oh, it sorta reinforces the idea that girls are pretty while boys are mischievous ... yawn.
Very musical and adventurist October 11, 1999
These videos are great,I first recieved them when I was 3,now I'm older.There are 2 other children that I have past it down to.They both love it,and so does everyone else I know.These videos are great because it keeps the kids bizzy and it teaches them song that even I didn't know.To all those people that are thinking of buying the videos "Buy Them" there great.
