This is a great tape. It is perfect for a beginner, and well worth the low price. After doing the tape for the first time, I was so relaxed and felt so good, I nearly floated to work. :) I highly reccomend it.

If you dislike crowded yoga studios and military-instructors, this is the video for you. Yoga can be intimidating to an inflexible man, but Ms. Baca's graceful form and precise alignment makes it feel easy. Her soothing voice immediately relaxes you. From there you are guided into a series of postures that are demonstrated effortlessly. Unlike many teachers who use a military approach, Ms. Baca's style flows and feels natural to the rhythms of my body. This video is a wonderful, peaceful addition to anyone's living room. I highly recommend this video for anyone who wants to add 40 minuts of bliss to their day. I look forward to the sequel!

A lot of people had recommended Yoga to me because I have had some stress in my life and have had trouble sleeping. I also wanted to be "active" again, but found it hard to work out due to a past injury and well time. I scowered the Amazon yoga videos and bought this one. My first experience with yoga was about a year ago and this guy was like a drill sargeant... and I was told that was how yoga wasn't supposed to be. So I took a chance on this video and I haven't felt sooo relaxed in about a year. This video takes you slowly through the poses which was perfect for me, becauase I am a beginner. Margurite's voice is soothing and her meditation is key after the challenging session she delievers well. I have recommended this video to several people and we all are happy with the results: relaxed, GREAT SLEEP and I have noticed my buns and legs are a bit tighter! Magurite is an inspiration and I do Yoga now about 3-4 times a week.

I recently tried this video, despite having always been disappointed with video "workout" purchases. I was pleasantly surprised at this find! It is a high quality, totally enjoyable class, and something I plan to do regularly. Marguerite Baca is simply wonderful, and I highly recommend this video for anyone seeking an innovative educational yoga regime, whether they are novices to yoga or experienced practitioners. You won't be disappointed!

Marguerite Baca models each posture beautifully. It's very inspiring to watch her and try to learn from what she does. Her voice is wonderful, soothing. She has an immensely calming presence. Is this her only video? I think she would be GREAT doing an advanced one and also one with restorative poses!
