Not only touching and romantic, heart wrenching July 14, 1999

I saw this movie shortly after it first came out. The story gives a beautiful view of heaven and a touching insight into just how tenuous life can be. I mean, with only subtle differences one child can be born to wealth and love and just across town another is born to squallor and apathy. I've been looking for this movie for over a year - and the local video stores were no help. Thank goodness for web-based search engines.

I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE AT LEAST 23 TIMES, AND I WILL PROBABLY WATCH IT ANOTHER 23 TIMES. EVERYTIME I VIEW IT, I PICK UP MORE THINGS I DID NOT SEE BEFORE. I HAVE RECEIVED MORE INSIGHTS FROM THIS MOVIE THAN ANY BOOK, CLASS OR THERAPY COMBINED. YOU MUST SEE IT SEVERAL TIMES TO BELIEVE IT.

A beautiful soulmate story. The passion between Timothy and Kelly in this movie makes you want to fall in love over and over again. I gave this movie five stars because of the deep spiritual connection between the characters and their lives. The best surprise is how many famous actors are in this classic. This is my all time favorite love story.

I love this movie. Never have I seen a movie more touching and thought provoking than this. Ally and Mike fall in love in Heaven. Ally, an angel who has never been to Earth, is sent to Earth shortly after their romance begins. Mike, determined to find her and reunite their love, returns to Earth. Mike, who is now named Elmo, endures heartache, loneliness, and becomes lost as he drifts away from his unconscious desire. I don't want to ruin it for you, but I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Remember, "...if you don't know where you're goin', then it doesn't matter which road you take...." I still cry everytime I see it. It's what love is all about. Darin
