It's Fab. What more could you expect from Michael Jackson? August 9, 1999 11 out of 15 found this review helpful
Michael's MoonWalker is a fabulous movie. It starts with little snipits from his life in music then goes into the movie. MICHAEL JACKSON THE KING OF POP. Michael is the music master of our life times. and there is no one who i will reason with if they disagree. so don't. Michael's new album comes out on November the 9th 99 so go to all the music shops and buy it. if you fail you suck.REMBER: "Before You Judge Him Try Hard To Love Him" Love Becka Keep Loving Michael. By the way to all the tabloid people out there it's Jackson not Jacko!!!!!!!!
THIS MOVIE IS NOTHING FRESH April 14, 1999 9 out of 14 found this review helpful
I still remember the day michael released this tape to home video I was so excited when my mom came home and told me.I mean I started doing dance moves from the Thriller tape(which my mom owns). Before we bought it and it was at blockbuster and video magic and I was able to rent a tape I would always get that most of the time and mom thriller.I still watch it a lot because I am trying to learn the most of the moves to Smooth Criminal cause I got some of down but not all.The tape has a lot of great stuff on it such as clips from videos and the leave me alone video and a special somewhat concert performance of Come Together(my fave) and Man in the Mirror at the beginning. It was also cool when he was doing bad video then he turns from a kid into a grown who gets chased by mobbing fans and then claymation kicks in with Speed demon playing .But to tell the truth michael has good acting skills. But thing about was that instead of the old boring regular credits roll by.Michael at first showed the credits to the documentary with some guys doing an acapella and switching from behind-the-scenes clips and the guys. Then you think its over but it shows cmooth criminal fast paced(great setting for it) and rolls the movie part credits and more video credits.A must have for every Jackson fan.
I Love Michael September 9, 2000 Tanika L. Carroll (McDonough, GA) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I'm such a huge Michael fan, I love everything he does. Moonwalker is so good, I loved every minute of it, I have watched it so many times. I Cannot wait until his new movie comes out next year, He's going to be portraying Edgar Allen Poe. Believe me I'll be the first in line to watch it. Michael is a genius, there is no other male singer that can come close to Michael. He is the true King. I'll always be a Michael Jackson Fan, I'm not ashamed to say that.
A stunning display of michael! September 7, 2003 Sarah (apex north carolina usa) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
I think that any michael jackson fan who buys this movie will be proud! this awsome movie ia a great display of michael in the performing and music video era! it starts of with the pepsi comercial then right into a stunning live performance of man in the mirror (my favorite part!) then flashbacks of michael and his succsess from when he first started to now, up next is badder (bad performed by talented little kids) then right into speed demon a great funny music video, then leave me alone which i think has a great message, then comes the breath taking mini movie smooth criminal the main part of the whole movie, then straight into a great performance of come together then one last song dedicated to michael by a group of afircan american singers. i sugjest all you michael fans get this as soon as you can. it will blow you away!
"An Introspective Look at "Michael Mania" during the '80's" October 16, 2003 Alex Shuris (Princeton, MA. (USA)) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This video cassette was released about 15 years ago, but it still proves to be one of the best music video compilations ever. It was released way back in 1988, when the album "BAD", was taking the market by storm, and "Michael Jackson", was at the height of his powers. If you enjoyed the "BAD" album, along with "Thriller" and Michael's output with "The Jacksons", then this VHS is for you. "Man in the Mirror", "Bad", "Speed Demon", "Leave Me Alone", and "Smooth Criminal" represent material off of "BAD (1987)." While a medley of "Billie Jean", "Human Nature", "Thriller", "Say, Say, Say" and "Beat It" represent The 1983 "Thriller Hey Day." You also get some snippets of the songs "State of Shock (1984)", "We Are The World (1985)", and "Dirty Diana (1988)", which are unavailable on any "Michael Jackson" video release, past or present. The special effects on "Smooth Criminal", "Speed Demon", and "Leave Me Alone" are phenominal, and rank up their with "Thriller", "Black or White", and "Ghosts." Too bad no live performance footage from the "BAD World Tour 1987-1989" was included, but what's here is golden. Hopefully this VHS will be remastered for a DVD re-release some time soon.
