5 out of 5 stars BEST RPG EVER!...   April 27, 2003

I you're the type that likes RPG's, or even the type that just began RPG's, THIS IS A MUST HAVE.It is a daring move made by Bandai, which was an excellent move. The gameplay is amazing, the graphics are incredibly realistic, the fighting system is one of the best I have ever seen, and the wide range of NPC's as well as PC's that you can contact is perhaps the most astounding!...

5 out of 5 stars Great and Challenging Game, but Short   May 18, 2003

When I got this game, I expected to play for a long time like the first one. I did like the fact of bringing my strong characters from the first one. I sure needed them. I'll admit that the three main bosses in that game were very difficult. It ended fast, but with a nice finish. I won't say it, but it looks like things are getting crazy in this game. So I recommend it very much. Just don't expect to play it long especially if you have the first one and beaten it. I finished it in two days! I was around level 47-48 when I beat the game. So that can be a good goal for people who have trouble in the game. So overall, great addition to the .Hack series!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent RPG   December 31, 2003

I've loved this game ever since the first installment (Infection) and I've been collecting the TV Show and Comic as well. This game has a long re-playability, indepth story, a wonderful amount of options and so forth. I can hardly wait for this one to come out.

For those who complain about the fact that the game doesn't change much between the four volumn are probably the same that complained that "Fellowship of the Rings" was a clifthanger--it's a standard 4-part series! A *story* in the normal tradition like 2001, Tolkien and the rest. That alone means that they got the whole idea of an RPG right! A true RPG is one that is a story that gives you a chance to play along. I recommend this game to anyone.

It is the best that I've played! The storyline is good, the graphics are good and the game itself is good. Plus, all my friends love it!

4 out of 5 stars .hack Mutation! A cool game!   August 17, 2003

.Hack Mutation is the sequel to another great game, .hack Infection. The story expands, you meet more party members, get to go to higher levels, and get another server (Lambda). Almost all the party members are optional, but really only 1 or 2 are required. You also get to go to about level 50. You really can't go far over that. Two new gruntys are here also! Blackrose gets a good weapon by meet Mimiru (from .hack//SIGN). You go to Net Slum and fight Innis and Magus.
