I purchased an extra Wii nunchuck so that I could have the option of playing with multiple people rather than just playing against the Wii. I have only used it once because the only game I have that uses nunchucks is the Wii Sports boxing. It's worth the money to buy one so you can have it just in case.

I bought this to enable 2 people to play the boxing game. Unfortunately one controler is a bit better than the other (more responsive), so there is always an argument as to who gets the "good one".

It makes possible some of the games that one plays on the Wii. It is easy to install and use and allows one to have more fun than a normal controller.

Boring it may be, but to have this standard Nunchuck means that you and your friends can enjoy the games without being distracted by different locations of buttons, etc.
So, the wire can be a problem; but it does stop the Nunchuck from being lost/separated, and saves on another set of batteries.
And, being the standard item, you can get all sorts of cool skins for it.
Just wonder why the Wiimote requires a big rubber protective buffer, and this has nothing?
