3 out of 5 stars Nintendo needs to work on the nunchuck a bit more   December 3, 2006

don't get me wrong, i love this thing. the fealing is great and it's sleek. but it's a little slow when i play. for instance, i was playing the new Zelda game. it told me in order to do a spin attack, i had to shake the nunchuck. when i did it, i had to wait 1.5 seconds till link (the maIN character) actually did the spin atack. i think nintendo need to fix this problem

You don't need the nunchuck for all the games but it's nice to have when you're playing running or other 2 handed games.

It's innovative though and that's a big plus.

4 out of 5 stars Most games need this, some don't   January 19, 2007

Unless you're playing only games that use the Wii remote, you're going to need a nunchuk. It's quite ergonomic, feeling comfortable in either hand, not too large, not too small.

The motion-sensitivity of the nunchuk definitely adds new dimensions to gameplay, but I really wish the cable was longer, though Nintendo probably made it short on purpose to avoid potential choking hazards.

Some games only partially need the nunchuk (Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, for example, where only a portion of the Party Games require the nunchuk), but if you play a lot of Wii, get a nunchuk for each your remotes. It's a bummer when you have your friends over and want to play a game but don't have enough nunchuks for it.

Mine works well and the innovative design of the remote has provided us with many hours of entertainment with many more to come!

The nunchuk is a great attachment for the Wii's more 'intricate' games. The only complaint I could give is that it's overpriced for a small add-on to the wii mote. It'd be nice if it had a little more than 2 buttons.
