PS3 DS3 review May 19, 2008 Chad Rhodes (Stamford, CT USA) I purchased this controller because I missed the feel of the ps2 dual shock effect. I mainly play Warhawk online and think that this definitely adds to the overall experience that a user has during the game. The controller feels solid and holds a charge well. Overall I think this controller is good and look forward to using it with more games that take advantage of it's technology.
At long last May 19, 2008 Anthony Hinkley (UK) Sony finally delivers what it promised to deliver, and what it should have delivered with the console. The Dualshock 3 is a much healthier weight in your hands, and the vibrations range from nearly undetectable murmurs to healthy thumps. The rest of the pads functionality remains near identical to the SIXAXIS, with the exception of battery life. It's not taken a substantial hit, but it is slightly shorter. I don't think that will cause anybody any concerns, but expect to charge the pad after a few days of playing.

This is an absolutely great buy for any gamer out there. The dualshock 3 really puts you into the game!
Much better than sixaxis May 22, 2008 Sarah E. Whithed (NH, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The added rumble is worth every penny, plus a little extra heft. Still like the 360 controller better, but if you have a ps3, you have to have this controller.
it only rumbles May 26, 2008 Nick Chavis (Raeford, NC) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Some reviewers are trying to make this out to be something amazing, this controller should have came with the system to begin with. It is only "slightly" heavier than the sixaxis controller. If you miss the rumble from the ps2 then get this, if not then you're not missing out on anything. The only game I have that even supports the rumble is R&C: future tools of destruction.
