Same Old Dualshock May 30, 2008 Larry D. Madill Jr. (Los Angeles, CA United States) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you've owned either a Playstation or PS2 you are already familiar with the Dualshock 3. The design is basically the same as the Dualshock and Dualshock 2, except it is wireless and has the much maligned SixAxis tilt feature. It also feels a bit lighter. There is nothing revolutionary here as some reviews suggests, but that is okay, the Dualshock has been probably one of the most reliable controllers in console history. I give it four stars for two reasons: The Dualshock 3 should've been available at launch and bundled with every Playstation 3, instead Sony tried to cheap out and saddled everyone with the dog that was the SixAxis. The second reason is that while the Dualshock design is "OK", it could be better. Compared to the Xbox 360 controller the Ergonomics are behind the times. Still a good controller. Even though you are sort of getting double-dipped on every PS3 owner should have a Dualshock 3
Go with the original controller not worth the $55 June 7, 2008 Jason A. Collier (Iraq) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I decided to go ahead and splurge on this controller thinking it was going to make a better gameplay in games such as COD 4. WRONG!! So far I think they have a lack of game choice for whats compatible with the controller. How are you not going to update the game of year to have this feature!?!? GTA has the rumble feature but hardly ever rumbles and most of the time I don't even notice because it's such a poor rumble. For being a 2 oz difference b/w the original controller and the dualshock is a BIG difference. I prefer the lighter controller...so in result I paid $50 for a controller that just sits there. Maybe I will continue using the heavier controller when they come out with the rumble feature on COD. LETS GO SONY!!

i thought i had a write up on this, ok this controller rocks, it last alot longer than the one that came with my ps3. and it also has viberate, it is pretty good controller
Good controller, but won't vibrate to all June 24, 2008 S. Ikeda (New Jersey, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This controller is my controller of choice when I play PS3 games now. Good controller with a good feel (bit heavier than the non-dualshock), but suits me just fine. I was expecting that all my games would now have the vibrating effect, but found out that it is only for some. But, it's still no problem. Good product and glad I bought it.
