The game is amazing worth the money!!!!! August 13, 2008 M. Sandoval (California,USA) The game is amazing because of the wireless guitar. The guitar is really awesome but really hard to take out for me The point is that the game is like having a concert in your room
GH3 PS3 August 31, 2008 D. Wallner (TC) Good game, was bought at a great price just over 60 bucks!! after shipping! brand new.
Fantastic!!! Rock Music at it's finest. September 15, 2008 Concerned One (Clarinda, IA) Guitar Hero has been a phenomenon for some years now, and recently when I acquired my PS3, I made sure this game was one of the first I bought. This is the game I have been waiting for for a long time. It has not been since I was a little that I have played video game for more than 20 minutes at a sitting. This Game brought me back to gaming again. It has all the music that I love (Slayer, Guns N Roses, Rage Against The Machine, Black Sabbath, ect..), and a way to interact with it. No more air guitar for me. The Les Paul bundle pack is a great value, and dropping in price just in time for the holidays. The controler is relatively well built and reasponsive, with good range of sensory. Uses infrared pick-up through usb port, you can have freedom to move. Gameplay is very simple, get the dots in the buble and strum the note. The tutorials are good, and the videos and extras you can unlock and download are great, from guitars to outfits. The game has multiple downloads from the PS3 store if you get tired of varying the skill levels from easy, medium, and hard, which vary your speed and number of keys used. Practice makes perfect, and this game has many hours of tireless play to it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!
Family Fun September 16, 2008 LMB (Sylvania,OH) Both my husband & son have to be pulled away from this game....it's highly addicting. We've had no problems with ours and will be ordering the Aerosmith edition soon.
Finally, the PS3 version! Beats my wired XBOX 360 guitar. September 16, 2008 Rick V (IN) I won't go much into the actual Guitar Hero franchise other than stating the Guitar Hero III has a wide variety of Rock, ranging from classic rock to death metal (or whatever the screaming voice is proclaiming). There is also a ton of downloadable content and add-onn content for this game. I am late 30's and LOVE this game. It is addictive and a great way to find relaxation. It also makes for great party games (had this on a projection screen connected to the stereo for a summer eve barbeque and it was a great hit. To the point though: I have used this so far on my kids' XBOX 360 where they have the wired version. The wired guitar often seems to fail to record notes making it very annoying to play with at times. This PS3 version guitar is wireless and has none of that. The unlockable and add-on content is great as well. All in all a MUST HAVE in your PS3 collection of games as it is unique in its approach (we also have Rockband but people flock to GH in our home since the RB notes are harder to hit). A game for all ages!
