Works great. I can use this much better than the guitar that came with Rock band. I am small and this one works great for me.

This guitar is awesome.It was a little hard to link.You have to hit the link button three times.We called tech support and the whole call took about 45 seconds and they had the guitar working.

I've had my Frontman guitar for a couple weeks now. So far I am very happy with my purchase. One thing worth mentioning is that they do not necessarily send the color shown in the picture. (Black with white pick guard is shown in pic, they sent me the white version). This doesn't bother me at all, but it could with some picky people so I thought I would mention it.
The guitar works great with both GH3 and RB on PS3. I have spent hours playing both games with the Frontman and have really had no problems, aside one loss of connection while playing GH3. Also, don't bother trying to use the junk batteries that come with the guitar, put some new name-brand ones in there. The ones they sent me were DOA. It is very responsive and seems to be built solid. I don't care for the huge USB reciever pedal thing that it uses but I don't mind if that is what is necessary for it to play both games. I prefer my Frontman over either of the guitars that came with RB (Strat) and GH3 (Les Paul). I do plan on getting either Rock Band 2 or GHWT when they come out and I do hope this guitar is compatible with them.
I recommend this guitar, it is worth the $50.

I just got mine today. Both games work flawlessly. The only problem i have is that when it hangs its a little unbalanced. You have to hold the neck up to keep it straight. Nothing you cant get used to though. I love it and recommend it highly.
An essential guitar for Rockband May 21, 2008

The Nyko Frontmant works flawlessly for both Guitar Hero 3 and Rockband. In my view, it's not quite as good as the Les Paul that comes with GH3, but is far and away superior to the Strat that comes with Rockband. In Rockband, I've been able to beat several songs that I could couldn't come close to beating before. Finally, if you've got both games, this is a great option if you want to pick up a 2nd guitar controller in order to place bass.
