Freakin' Loud, Expensive and Needs an Additional Plug May 1, 2007 T. Stanley Mcginnis (Columbus, OH USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
First of all, you will need a computer power cord or the original Xbox 360 cord to make this product work. Secondly, it is VERY LOUD. Louder than the 360 when you are playing games. I guess it is the internal cooling fan in this product, but it is so almost unacceptable. So far the product is working, but it is almost unbearable in volume. There really are few alternatives to this product, if you need a replacement or additional power supply brick for your Xbox 360. The $79.99 price on Amazon was cheaper than the $99.99 I have seen this product at places like Target.
BAD INVESTMENT! June 13, 2007 Ian S. Ostrosky 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It worked for about 10 minutes then stopped working. Don't buy unless you want to be disappointed.
DO NOT BUY THIS! August 28, 2007 K. Reopelle (NC) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had this power supply for a month and then it broke. within 2 weeks it had melted some the plastic casing because it became so hot, within a month it was broken. HUGE waste of money!
Xbox 360 power adapter September 22, 2007 Mohamad Alahmad The product itself is decent but playing for long periods at a time could heat up the power adapter it is not as strong as the one Microsoft makes.
A Simple Product October 11, 2007 Stan A. Hazlip III (Iraq) Now, the reason why I bought this item was because I blew the adapter that comes with the system by plugging it directly into a Euroasian (read: Iraqi) outlet. I had to buy a surge protector and this adapter, and all work out well about 100 dollars later. It says that you are supposed to be able to lug this into a Euroasain outlet since it is a replacement adapter, but I haven't tried that, nor do I intend to.
