Great product! May 17, 2007 Gary L. Jones (Northern California) 6 out of 12 found this review helpful
Having tried pretty much every controller on the market, The Xbox360 Wireless is easily the best. The "D" pad needs some tweaking, but overall it has a great feel. Sony controllers feel like they are for tiny hands. Add the rechargable pack and you are ready to go!
I adore my PINK controller! November 27, 2007 K. Richey (Fort Bragg, NC) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I love the Xbox 360 but it was hard sharing my husband's conroller because he always complained about me draining the batteries in it, lol. So I went and bought me my own, in PINK even! He knows it is mine and he would not be caught dead using it. So I don't have to worry about him draining my batteries, haha. I had a friend tell me that it was frivolous to get it in pink but I disagree. It works and costs exactly the same as the white ones, so why not shake things up with some color? The pink is so cute and girly. I really love it!
Xbox 360 Wireless Conroller Black August 24, 2007 J. L. Hildebrandt (St Paul, MN ,USA) 5 out of 14 found this review helpful
was ordered with to work with and match the Xbox 360 elite. It works well and matches the Xbox elite. That is the best anyone can say about it.
Using it on a PC September 29, 2007 A. Maddox 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this wireless controller to use with the wireless USB adapter for the PC. I also have a wired Xbox 360 controller. The shape and button layout make for one of the most comfortable and ergonomic game pads ever designed. And the weight is perfect. The flaws: The wireless controller must be manually powered on by holding down the middle Xbox button each time you turn on your computer or when the controller powers down. You also must sync the USB adapter and the controller(s) manually each time as well by holding down a button on the USB adapter and then pressing a button on the gamepad. On the Xbox 360, you don't have to hold down a button on the console at all, just press the activate on the controller -- much better IMO. Also, the default button PC layout in games is DIFFERENT than on the wired Xbox 360 controller! (This is just stupid, MS!) Marvel Ultimate Alliance supports 360's controllers native (a requirement for the Games for Windows logo) with visual button coding displayed on screen in-game. This works properly automatically on the wired controller, but the wireless buttons map to the totally wrong buttons making the on-screen button graphics useless. Lastly, the wireless controller takes FOREVER to turn itself off and I cannot find a way to do it manually except by pulling out the batteries. It sits there flashing trying to reconnect to the USB adapter even when your computer is off wasting batteries. Overall, the controller is great. I prefer the wired one though considering the above issues.
Not quite as ugly as it looks November 13, 2007 mesman21 (PA, USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this one because I found it on sale. It is not quite as bright and ugly as it looks in the picture, but it isn't dark blue either. A nice plus is that it won't get yellowish like the white ones do over time. I also have the blue rechargeable battery pack which is now available. Other then the color it is the same as any other 360 controller, which is in my opinion the greatest controller of all time, absolutely perfect except the D-pad can be a bit weird. Would buy again.
