4 out of 5 stars My son loves the system   July 5, 2008

I bought this system for my son recently. He tells me that it is the best game he has. He has other systems too and now they are collecting dust. He likes to play with people from around the world with the internet connection and headphones. I made one mistake while cleaning and he was playing the game, I picked it up and turned it on its side. Never ever do that while game is in play because it ruins the game disk. I had to shell out more money for a new copy.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   July 18, 2008

Ok,When I first even thought about ordering this product,I was a bit skeptical. After I ordered it via USPS 2 Day Shipping,I had received it early on the second day as they had stated. The Xbox 360 Elite is worth every single penny. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal and I haven't even purchased my 1080p HD television yet.The only thing that I don't like is the fact that if you wish to play Xbox live and go online, you must pay $49.99 a year for it and also either buy one of the following.....Xbox 360 Wireless adapter for $99.99,a long ethernet extension cord,or if you are fortunate enough to have the ethernet box in your room by your 360 you will only need the 49.99 Xbox Live 12+1 Month card or any other amount of membership starting at 1 month.Overall The Xbox 360 Elite is an absolutely FABULOUS buy.

5 out of 5 stars xbox elite. a sexy console.   October 20, 2008

I definitely recommend this product over the core or pro versions. With the new xbox experience, you are going to need space to store all of your game demos, videos, and arcade games. Also it just looks extremely nice. It has that WoW factor that you get when friends come to your house. If you are wondering whether or not to get a xbox this holiday season, i say do it. it the best investment and great gaming opportunity out there!

5 out of 5 stars Got the new Falcon!   October 24, 2008

I've heard a lot of different opinions from different people about whether the new Falcons are really that much better than the old iterations of the 360, but just newing that I have the newest version makes me feel a bit more secure.

I chose the Xbox 360 over the PS3 because it seems like every good game I'm interested in either comes out for Xbox 360 first, or comes out for 360 exclusively. That, and hearing that 360s have begun to outsell PS3s in Japan makes me think this system on the whole is better. And besides that, as a long-time PC gamer who's purchasing his first console since the Sega Genesis (which was an awesome console), I find that the 360 reminds me more of a computer, and interfaces better with a computer.

The 120GB hard drive has already begun to come in handy with downloading demos, extra songs for Rock Band 2, and basically anything I want. It's nice knowing that with such a large drive, I'm not likely to run out of space anytime soon.

I certainly wouldn't say that the PS3 sucks, but for me, the choice was the 360.

5 out of 5 stars I'm the Mom and I love it!   November 11, 2008

I bought the Elite because my brother has one and he loves all of the cool online gaming you can do. I got mine so that we could share games. Well, it has been just a great machine. My husband is medically retired and plays driving games on it with the steering wheel option. My two kids play old Xbox games and some of the Xbox 360 games on it. I prefer role playing games. This poor machine works it's rear end off in our house. I have had it for 1 year now with no problems.
