Be sure to get the remote control for watching DVD's or navigating the dashboard without the controller. Love the dashboard interface, it is super slick. Xbox live is outstanding. My only complaint with the 360 is that the fan is in fact fairly loud - most noticeable during quiet times when playing a game. Hooked this thing up to my home network and am showing friends and family my digital photos on my 46" LCD via the dashboard interface... just epic.

The Elite is a cool machine like it alot and will recommend this to anyone even without much game experiance. Good product and is also well made.

I purchased the xbox 360 for my son's birthday. It was easy to connect to the TV monitor. I have not allowed my son to do online gaming since he is 11, but he really loves it anyway. The purchase also coincided with the release of Halo 3. We are very happy with the xbox's clarity of graphics and the wireless controllers. I also purchased the service contract--if there is a problem in the 2nd year of ownership, everything is covered. We recently had a problem with our PSP and it cost us $90 to send to Sony for repair.

I have owned every gaming system out to date just about and the xbox 360 elite is amazing. Xbox live is great and the new menus and navigation of the 360 are so easy and very well designed. The game play is excellent and far better than Wii or Ps3. Xbox 360 and halo 3 are countless hours of fun and worth every penny!! Buy this
