Great gameplay and enjoyable March 15, 2008 GT (CA) I've been a gamer on the Half-life platform since it's release many years ago. I have been held victim since the release of Steam and being a developer for many steam-based games, I have learned to tolerate it and the non-sense it requires. So the platform (Steam) aside, the games offered are quite fun; Portal with it's witty remarks, humor and excellent physics and overall strong gameplay with many twists and turns to set a mind spinning. Team Fortress 2 is a cartoony Team Fortress Classic killing fest which is fun as long as one enjoys a less serious game with very little realism. Half-life 2 is self-explanatory in enjoyment as are the other games. I got this game set for thirty dollars so no reason for me to complain thanks to Amazon's good deal.
Best. Game. Ever! March 15, 2008 D. Keefer (USA) The Orange Box is hands-down the best value you'll ever find in a game. This is a must-have for serious gamers and new gamers alike. The only downside is that some of the games are a bit short, but with 5 total games, and some features that make them worth replaying (achievements and challenge maps), you won't be disappointed with the amount of play time it offers. If I could only ever own one game, it would probably be The Orange Box.
:D March 15, 2008 Marcus Zizzo (Kenosha, WI USA) Awsome i love the sale price thats the only reason i got it cuz i don't have a system that can run it on max. But eventually i will :D excellent buy. Shipping was perfect arrived on time.
Yessss! September 3, 2008 L. Green (SF, CA) Too much fun. As a Huge HL2 fan, I obviously loved episode 2 as it was longer than episode 1 and introduced a few new enemy's. And then there's Portal. I heard a lot of hype about this game and thought the idea looked pretty cool but was always kind of wondering "how good could it actually be"? Well, it's Spectacular. The game fully absorbed me, held my attention, and continuously suprised me until the bear end. A Must play, for sures. Team fortress? Havn't really played it but I'm also not much of a multiplayer/arena type. The graphics look pretty and cartoony though. They have that cell-animation type look.
