I've got the other GTA's and damn that I waited until now to pick this up. Production of this has been HALTED! I stopped inside a "Worst" Buy to get one and wouldn't you know it, the cowards pulled it off the shelves. If you've been stalling on this NOW IS THE TIME - BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!!

i just played this game today at my neighbor's house. and i have to say that it was great. I've always favored the GTA series. so has my neighbor. today i decided to go over there and get them cheats for the game. they were so happy. i mean they put a cheat in that made any car that touches our car explode. they found a car that they really liked so they stole it from someone. thery're garage was full so one of them said let just blow up all the other cars cause we're not gonna use them. but then the car got on fire so we had to leave it there for it to explode. it did. then we found the same car driving by and thats when we shot the guy driving it. we were afraid of touching the other cars in the garage because we thought it would blow up again. so one of them said "Here's a good idea, why don't we just turn the cheat off.it was funny cause they didd'nt think that before. (haha)

The ultimate GTA game San Andreas is absolutly stunning. GTA: S.A. takes the series into both macro & micro levels with a ton of added mini games & not to mention the ton of regular missions. Weighing in at 5 times the square mileage of GTA:Vice City. San Andreas is the coolest,grittiest, biggest action game I have ever played on any console. The XBOX version has sharper clearer textures, with progressive scan & 16:9 widescreen support. Improved lighting & the world is less saturated ,& the draw distance is better than the PS2 version . Although the graphics arent stunning the overall scope & attention to detail is fantastic. Also exclusive to the XBOX version you can play your own custom soundtrack from your xbox's hard-drive, it shows up in the radio playlist while your driving. There is also a 30 second instant replay feature exclusive to the XBOX version ,this is kool when you just performed an insane jump & you wanna watch it again. Load times are faster than the PS2 version ,when you enter a building no long load times on the XBOX,the transitions are flawless almost in the blink of an eye. Im glad I waited for the XBOX version.Everything that was in the other games is in here & more, much, much ,more. You could easily call this game an ACTION/RPG with all of new things to do that have been added to this installment of the GTA series. On the action side they have added bike riding abilities now in this series & its incredibly fun & addictive ,you can do bunny hops, ride in bowls, ramps, back yards. etc. On The RPG side you can eat, get fat ,get thin,work out, get buffed, buy clothes,get haircuts, get girlfriends, run gangs,etc.etc. The Mini-games you can play pool,shoot hoops,horse betting,dance in clubs,etc.The list goes on & on.I could go on for hours how awesome this game is . There is just so much to cover & review. GTA: San Andreas is easily a 60 to 80 hour game to get the coveted 100% game completion. GTA: San Andreas is (NOT) & I repeat (NOT) the the standard rent & beat it in one week type game. San Andreas is a definatly MUST OWN game. My New Favourite Game.

First of all,to the kid who reviewed this game,what you said was the most stupip and racist review I have ever seen and you should be locked away.Second of all THE GAME SUCKED, THE GAME SUCKED,THE GAME SUCKED. Don't get me wrong, if this was the first game in the series it would be great, but the cold hard fact is its not. It is the fifth and to tell you the truth I don't like the main character in this game, not because he is black, because I was warming up to Tommy. There is never going to be another character like Tommy, unless the guys making the game decide to bring back Tommy. He was and still is the greatest video game character ever.
Third of all, the guns in this game. The first time I played it I didn't know what was going on. I can see having to learn to shoot, but guys, COME ON.
Fourth of all the levels are nearley impossible to beat. The level with with the General caused me to get killed 12 times and I beat Vice City 9 times. They did not make this game more of a challenge to play, they made it sort of a "miracle if you win game" and I get into the games I play, so when I don't win I get very,very,very,very angery.
Fifth of all, the new features aren't that great. The cars and guns wouldn't make me want to buy this game.
And last but not least, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", which is exactally what's going on here. Make a new game, I understand that, but here's what they should have done:
1.Keep the same character
2.add new guns, but not new way to shoot
3.forget new cars, old ones were fine
4.change the storyline
If they had done this, The game would have sold just as much, and all around, be a better game.
If you are looking into buy this don't, buy 1,2,3,and Vice City. And if you already have them, take a brake play some other game and it will be allright.

its been a while but i finally bought this gamne and it is perfect, its violent and bloody, with mass killings that you can do at the tap of a button, there is nude pictures in the game too, in the 2.0 version. just gotta explore, so for all you parents and childish adults, who think sex is a bad thing, i wonder how you came to exsistance, i bet you all watch porn, but its not o.k for a video game marked with a mature rating to be played..you people make me sick, worry about the war in iraq, violence is 24-7 over there and worry about the streets cause violence is everywhere, and nothing is being done to fix it, like a video game will make me get up , go outside and start punching cops, or crashing my car into a crowd of people...GROW UP YOU SILLY IDIOTS, STOP BLAMING THE GAME AND START BLAMING YOUR SELFS, THE GAME DOESNT RASE YOUR CHILD....YOU DO!!!
