phone konked off......do not buy please November 28, 2007 D. Kini (boston, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
comment: Dec 31, 07 The phone started giving me error..."insert smartchip" and keeps switching itself off frequently. I tried calling ATT and they tell me that since 30 days have passed, I can get a refurbished phone as a replacement. What a bunch of crap.......daylight robbery...do not buy ATT products or service. I travel a lot through NH remote areas, I am now losing signal more often than when I had my old nokia 6230. I think I may go back to it. The microphone of this phone is too sensitive, in my car when I am speaking, people can hear the road noise/wind noise which they did not when I had my nokia. The interface is very cumbersome. You have to press a lot of buttons to get small tasks done. ---------------------------------------------------------- I purchased this because it has the most features for the price range. I do not use phone for internet, music purchase..etc at least not yet, so I do not need a 3g phone or a PDA phone. If you remove those two aspects, this phone has everything else and free if you are new to AT$$$T . Quad band, 2MP camera, media player, expandable memory, FM RADIO WITH RDS and bluetooth A2DP. I recieved this yesterday havent used it much but here are the highlights Pro's --Brilliant screen --love the walkman feature and pedometer. When you switch pedometer, it actually shows a tiny icon with the # of steps in one corner of main screen all the time --can use as a removable drive with supplied USB cable --comes with a proprietary headphone, but has an adapter for 3.5mm --good voice quality and speakerphone. --has fm with RDS. Only other phone to have it is a nokia 6555, but that one only has 1.3m camera --sound quality is good for a phone cons --not really white color, it is silverish-white...so no OHH and AHH's --phone can get accidentally unlocked and dial #'s and use mediaNET. U have to create a dummy internet provider to avoid data usage charges..thanks to the other reviewer, this is the first thing I did without even testing if it happens. --phone switches off suddenly and randomly when you open and close the slider --Battery door of WHITE phone is difficult to open because it does not have a non-slip backing. -- ONLY WHITE MODEL HAS 256Mb ms micro card included, you will pay $[...] extra for a 2GB MS compared to a 2GB SD card, factor that into costs. -- no flash for camera. If 3g is important, Nokia 6555 is a good option but compromise with camera..as if that makes much difference.
F***ING AWSOME December 21, 2007 B. Castillo 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This product is just greate! I have had no problems with it, beside having to get use to different controls from my RAZR. The music playback surpasses the ipod, picture quality is superb, and the other gadgets built in it are fun to use along being useful. The headphones may be uncomfortable at first, but you will get use to it. The memory stick it comes with doesn't hold alot of music, so you may want to buy a larger one.
poor construction February 13, 2008 network 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I average over 2000 minutes a month on my phone. I returned two phones because of problems with the hardware. The first I believe was a defect but the second was because of use. The two round buttons on the phone which are used the most became loose and slipped out of disc shape. I overlooked minor design flaws but after 4 months of use a major component should not come apart. It is a fragile phone.
No radio to bluetooth headphone April 23, 2008 engineer 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The only complaint I have with this phone is that I can't listen to the radio through a pair of stereo A2DP bluetooth headphones. I'm glad that I bought the Jabra BT 620s and its A120s music adapter, or I still would be listening to the radio through the wires. This combination doesn't work so well when you pair the headphones with the phone and the adapter. Trying to answer a call was a headache because the phone, the heaphones, and the adapter had all kinds of communication problems. But when I took the radio attachment out and just paired the headphones to the phone, I could listen to MP3s and easily talk on the phone (not simultaneously, of course). So my hope for the future of the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones is that the radio attachment becomes integrated with the actual phone. I've owned the W600i, and my main complaint with that phone was also about the radio attachment. But they're still great phones. All the features work great. I love the step counter. My hands are small, so I haven't had trouble with dialing or keys breaking.

I bought this pghone for my wife. She is just need a phone to make calls and she is very happy with it. No complicated manus etc. She don't make too many calls and the battery last for about 3 days. Very easy to load music on the phone's memory and the phone it self has OK speakers.
