Practical headset March 25, 2007 Anonymous (New York, NY) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have three of these headsets and keep them in the car, in jackets, workbag, etc, and I just ordered two more. We have had our first one for more than a year and have had no problems with it not working or breaking. The retractable cord works great. We tried other retractable headsets (Jabra, for one) and none worked as well as this one. Sound is good, too. Recommend for anyone who doesn't like Bluetooth and doesn't want to get their cords all tangled up.
Great for the Windy City February 20, 2005 E. L. Fough (Chicago, IL) I've owned 4 handsfree units - none of them worked well in the wind until this one. The microphone works even when the wind blows hard off Lake Michigan. The sound in the ear piece is fantastic, very clear; I don't have to have the volume up full blast to hear. I've had no complaints from callers, they can hear me perfectly well. I have two problems, minor, with the device. 1) The cord between the ear piece and the microphone is too short. 2) Sometimes if the ear piece isn't positioned correctly, it hurts my lobe. Overall I love this and have been using it for well over a month. This particular model DOES NOT come with the optional voice activation/disengage call button. Some phone models are too old to function properly with that added feature (so I found out when I spent the extra $10 to buy one at the Verizon store), but they'll work just fine with this "basic" model.
Is OK May 13, 2007 Living In Irvine, CA (Irvine, CA USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Does what it says, pretty good sound, snaps back easily. Just nothing extra good that makes me normally put a five star.
Great Product June 26, 2007 Kristin Mccarty (Columbia, md United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this hands free set. I lost mine and can't wait to get another one. The I hestiated to get it because I was worried about it feeling like a clip on earing (OUCH!) but you can't even tell it's there. This also prevents the ear part from falling out at the slightest movement. It can fit into almost any size/shape ear thanks to the soft clip. I do agree with a previous poster that the retractable part is annoying but when the rest is great, who cares?
