Blue Ant Hands Free November 9, 2006 TP (New Jersey, USA) 8 out of 13 found this review helpful
The unit is merely adequate for use in the car. The speaker is the major drawback as it has a very tinny sound. All ambient noise (such as the AC and heating fan) must be eliminated. There is an inherent echo noted by many callers. You have to speak up to assure that you are heard. It also takes a long time to bond with the phone's bluetooth (phone is an LG Chocolate). All in all the unit works but it lacks dynamic sound in both sending and receiving. Possibly this is a problem with bluetooth connectivity but the unit does not give the overall impression of quality construction. Prior to this, had a Motorola phone which had a hard-wire hook up to a Motorola portable spekerphone unit. This was far superior sound-wise to the Blue Ant.
THE BEST portable handsfree bluetooth speakerphone! July 17, 2007 Steven R. Zweigart (Maysville, Kentucky, USA) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I am a bluetooth junkie. I've owned probably one of every kind of bluetooth interface for my Razr V3 that's ever been made. The BlueAnt's diminutive name belies it's huge performance. The device is super easy to mount, easier to use, versatile, has wonderful sound quality on both ends, and has a jack for an external earpiece for private conversations, or those in noisy areas. I use mine almost daily, and recharge maybe once per month. The magnetic clip is ingenious, and allows the phone to be used in conference situations, or from atop the car in rodeside situations easily. The only problem I've had at all is that the device seems to need a bit of a goose to get it synced when first turned on. (Must not only turn it on, but also activate the connect switch once to assure it will work when you need it.) This characteristic is a minor problem, and frankly I believe it is more a problem on my phone's end. Would buy another...and another...and another... but works so well, will probably never need to.
Good stuff!! Best Blue Tooth Unit so far! Jan 2007 January 11, 2007 Ming Chow (Washington DC, USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is an excellent unit with long battery life. Especailly when you can easily turn it off and on as needed. It has a flip down mic that turns the unit on and when you leave your car just flip it back up. The standby time on this (with the mic flipped On position) is i believe a week. I had this thing sit in my car for a week with out charging and it showed no sign of need to charger. I've only charged it twice since I bought it two months back. It's speaker is strong, clear and loud with volume control. The mic is clear at NORMAL tone... you don't have to yell or even raise your voice that much. You can talk like you were in the library. I give great ratings and reccomend it to all who drive!
Not bad. July 7, 2007 S. Lowery (Ca.) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
It is a good product. It is very easy to synch up to a phone. The draw back is that there is a list of compatible phones that it will work well with it. While it will work with any Bluetooth phone, you may have problems if you're not on the list. My phone was not on the list and it works and I have not had a complaint from any one except my buddy who was on a Bluetooth headset. He got major feedback and missing words when he talked to me but everyone else can hear me fine. The speaker is plenty loud enough. All in all I'm happy with it. Very easy to use.

I bought this for my wife. she says it's best thing I've ever bought for her (so she must like it). I also bought one for my daughter who says she loves it but would like to see a future model with and LCD or LED readout of the number she's calling or talking to. otherwise, it's an excellent product and priced right
