2 out of 5 stars great sound, horrible construction.   March 17, 2008

the hbs-200 headphones worked great for 10 days before they broke bilaterally at the exact same place with the exact same fracture pattern. Please do not buy these headphones, too many people have had this problem, and it has nothing to do with excessive handling. Simply by waring them will cause this damage. Verizon wouldn't replace them even with an extended warranty because they "looked physically abused". Aside from this major issue they were a great set of head phones for the 6 times I wore them.

I would have to agree with the other reviewers....if you are looking for quality, these are not the headphones for you. I got mine paired with the Samsung Juke Phone from Verizon so they were the only option I had. Mine have broken by the ear piece on BOTH sides for no aparent reason. They are now held together with super glue and duck tape. The battery doesnt hold a charge worth a damn. Being fair, the sound is good, although I have nothing to compare it with...the controls on the heaphones work just fine...if that's a plus...all in all, I 'd say they arent worth a squirt of urine.....

5 out of 5 stars Headset is great for both music and calls   December 26, 2007

I received this as a Christmas gift, and so far, it works like a charm. This headset is lightweight, and it rests comfortably on the earlobes. The phones can be folded back for easy carriage in a good-sized pocket. Pairing with my LG Muziq went smoothly, and sound is of great quality, both indoors and out. Phone calls also work very well, as persons on the other end hear me just fine. The buttons are also well-placed and well-designed, as each has a distinctive shape so a function isn't accidentally activated. Overall, this headset should fit most needs.

1 out of 5 stars Not worth it   May 12, 2008

Headset broke in the same spot as other people in less than a month. Right where the headset rests on the ear. Poor design. Called LG, first person said that I could return it, but that it would be sent right back to me because the damage was physical. Talked to a manager and she said to send it in. Did so and sure enough, got the headset back with a note stating customer abuse, return as-is. I was lied to by the manager who probably just wanted me off the phone. (added another $5 to the cost) This is unacceptable for a product that cost over $100 originally.

Button controls seemed fine and battery life was good. It did create a whine in the background when playing sound and was slightly uncomfortable though. If it had held together it would have been acceptable, but not great.

Bottom-line - A product that doesn't last a month of normal use is not a product at all. I am now very reluctant to recommend any LG products. Maybe look at the Jabra BT620s instead.

2 out of 5 stars Good until they broke   July 21, 2008

I had the same experience with them breaking. I am very careful with my phone and accessories, yet the plastic between the ear section and the part that goes over your head broke. Until then, I was happy with how they worked.

The problem is that this rotates the part you hear out of away from your ear, so you can't hear as well out of that ear, which is really annoying.

I'm not even going to bother to try to exchange them, since I'm sure I'll hear the same thing about abuse. But this should not happen after six months. I have other headsets that I've had for years.

We'll be adding even more exciting features to assist you in the coming year.
