I'm very disappointed with this headset. Lots of buzzing and very distracting to the person I'm calling. Will be returning it.

I purchased this headset two months ago and, unfortunately, the headset completely died the other day. The blue lights flickered a few times and, then, I could not turn it on. Could not make a connection. Could not charge it any more. There is no chance of resurrecting it. :(
With that said, during my two months of use, I found the unit to be a better than average unit. Of course, I am also speaking from the position of first timer... this was my first bluetooth purchase.
Points I liked:
1. Ease of use. For a first timer, I was able to get this unit up and running in no time. One must connect using the bluetooth connection on their phone and each phone is different, but it was simple. Reconnecting was a breeze too once you get the hang of connecting and disconnecting through various means.
2. Good general sound clarity. I could hear conversations well indoors and out. Driving in the car with wind, radio, etc wasn't bad either but more of a challenge. And, yes, you want to play with the combination of volume on the unit and your cell phone since they can work independently of each other and alter the sound levels.
3. The charge lasted a long time. In the two months the unit was functioning, I only ran out of charge once. And that was because it lasted so long, that I almost felt like it could hold a charge indefinitely.
What I did not like:
1. No car charger. I would have liked a car charger included with the product. I'd even pay a bit extra for it for that convenience.
2. People I held conversations with would often times say that they could NOT hear me that well. This was rectified by either me twisting the mic in a different position or 'cupping' my hand around the mic to isolate my voice a bit. This did not happen often, but often enough to be concerned.
3. The blinking blue light was sort of irritating. But only noticeable at night, especially in the car. I say irritating because I would turn my head and the blue blinking reflection would alert me to the possibility of a police car when, in fact, the blinking blue light was just reflecting off the windows of my car. This only at night and when my girlfriend would tell me to remove it because the blinking blue light was a distraction. I would prefer a small blue diode that remained constant when on.
4. The complete failure of the unit for no apparent reason. And calling up SOYO for support and getting endless voice mails. It appears I will need to pay for the warranty repair too. A small amount, however, but one combined with shipping making warranty work a cost prohibitive idea.
Anyway, if you can get this headset at a discount, then you'll make a good choice since, I'm guessing, the complete failure of my unit 'could' be unique to me. However, since it did fail, it is a note I must make in my review. So, good luck.
Nonetheless, I was happy with my purchase until the headset failed. :)

This product does not keep a charge very long and cuts off continually. The earpiece is very uncomfortable. Even at such a cheap price, it was not a good investment. I only used it for a couple of days and gave up. Save your money and buy a better brand.

I purchased this item as my first bluetooth headset, from Amazon. In trying it out, I found that the sound quality was poor, and the microphone did not pick up my voice well.
I returned it to Amazon, because of the poor quality, and Amazon only gave me 40% of my money back, because the package was opened. I don't know how Amazon expected me to try out this blister-packed item without opening it.
Stay away from this item, and from Amazon if you even think you'll need to return something.

No problem setting the unit up with my Moto phone. But nobody could hear me when I used the headset. Maybe I'm expecting too much, since this is my first try at a Bluetooth headset, but IMO it's useless.
